MZ Makeup
Please read the following carefully before booking your appointment.
A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking - whether for bridal makeup or any other service. This deposit is payable via bank transfer at the time of booking and secures your date exclusively for you.
In the event that you choose to cancel your booking at any stage, please be aware that the deposit is non-refundable. We strongly recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment, particularly for bridal and peak-season dates.
MZ Makeup reserves the right to cancel any booking without refund if any member of the client's party engages in abusive, violent, threatening or offensive behaviour towards the artist. The safety and wellbeing of our artist is paramount.
By engaging our services, the client grants permission for MZ Makeup to use any photographs taken during or after the appointment for promotional and publicity purposes, including social media, this website, and our partner photography website (MZ Photographer). If you would prefer your images not to be used, please inform us prior to your appointment.
The makeup session fee includes travel within a 7-mile radius of Dunstable. For appointments requiring travel beyond 7 miles, an additional travel charge will apply. This will be discussed and agreed with the client at the time of booking.
Where services are provided at a venue, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that suitable parking is arranged prior to the appointment. This includes obtaining any necessary parking permits, passes, or notifying venue security of the artist’s arrival.
Any parking costs incurred at the client’s chosen venue are the client’s responsibility. Where paid parking is required, the client is asked to arrange this in advance. If parking charges are incurred by the artist on the day, these will be added to the final invoice.
If the artist arrives at the agreed location and is unable to park or access the venue due to no permit or insufficient arrangements made by the client, the full service fee will remain payable in accordance with the cancellation policy.
Clients are responsible for being present and ready at the agreed appointment time and location.
If you are running late or are not yet at the appointment address, please notify MZ Makeup as soon as possible.
A short grace period may be offered where possible. However, if you are unavailable on arrival or your appointment is significantly delayed, the time available for your makeup application may be reduced to avoid affecting other scheduled bookings.
If you are unavailable for more than 15 minutes after the agreed appointment time without prior notice, MZ Makeup reserves the right to treat the appointment as cancelled. In these circumstances, the 50% booking deposit will remain non-refundable, and any additional travel costs already incurred may also be payable where applicable.
Every effort will be made to accommodate unforeseen delays, but this cannot be guaranteed if it impacts other clients or scheduled appointments.
